ACADIA 2013 Adaptive Architecture

The proceedings of the ACADIA 2013 ADAPTIVE ARCHITECTURE international conference contains the research of the 33rd annual conference of the association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture. Research papers selected by blind peer review include topic streams organised by general topics including materials, energy, interactive systems, information, mechanisms, and structures. The book also includes design and research posters selected by jury, profiles 2013 ACADIA award recipients, and finalist entries of the tex-fab Digital Fabrication Alliance ‘Skin’ competition.
The conference event took place on October 24-26 in Cambridge, Ontario, with the workshops and related events on October 17-23 and 27. The event was hosted by the University of Waterloo in partnership with the University at Buffalo, SUNY and the University of Nottingham.
