Experimental Architecture considers the application of living technologies, such as protocells and programmable smart chemistry, in the context of architectural prototypes, as well as current architectural systems. Mapping directly onto LASG’s pursuit of Living Chemistry systems involving artificial biology systems, the partnership will provide theoretical and practical insights towards a 21st century understanding of technology, infrastructure and people to inform an ecological architectural design method that can deal with the dynamic and technological nature of our material realm
